What We Believe
Mission Statement
“We exist to help people know God and demonstrate His presence in their lives.”
Our Vision
Our vision is to become ONE FAMILY: a congregation that is truly representative of the population of Grand Cayman in terms of race, nationality, economic standing, age, and gender, with ONE PURPOSE: fulfilling The Great Commandment (Matt 22:37-39) and The Great Commission (Matt. 28: 19-20) through the power of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ; and with ONE DESTINY: to “be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thess. 4:17).
Our Emphasis
Our emphasis lies in two points: the unity of all believers and holiness in relationships with God and our fellow humans.
Why Are We Often Called The Chapel
We believe that the Bible teaches that the term church can only be applied to a body of Christians, either all believers worldwide or a local group of believers that fellowship together. Chapel refers to the building, our place of worship.
We Are Evangelical
The Bible is our source of authority. We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that all persons are sinners by nature. We believe that salvation is a gift through Jesus dying on the cross. We believe in a literal Heaven for the saved and a literal hell for the lost (unsaved).
We Are Non-Denominational
We follow no prescribed creed other than the Bible. We are not under any binding, unbending organizational structure. We do not follow any legalistic statements or enforce particulars to one’s lifestyle, such as dress, diet, etc.
